Privacy & Cookie Policy

Who we are

RiskConcile Group ("we", "us") operates this website. For questions about this policy or about how we handle your personal data, contact us at info@riskconcilegroup.com.

What we collect

We only collect personal data you give us, plus limited technical data about your visit:

  • Contact details you submit through a form on this site — your name, email address, company and the content of your message.
  • Application details you send us through the careers section — your name, contact details, CV and any information you include with it.
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page — collected through the cookies described below, and only where you have consented to them.
  • To answer your enquiry and to follow up on a commercial conversation you started. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
  • To assess your job application. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a recruitment process.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
  • To send you information you asked to receive. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make the site work; others tell us how the site is used. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage are covered here too.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing but strictly necessary cookies is set until you accept. You can change your mind at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and cannot be switched off. They include the cookie that remembers your cookie choice itself, and the cookies HubSpot sets to protect its forms against abuse.

Analytics

Loaded only with your consent. We use Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are read. The data tells us how the site is used in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you.

Hubspot

Loaded only with your consent. HubSpot sets cookies that recognise a returning visitor and link a form submission to the pages that visit touched, so that a conversation we are already having stays in context. These are not advertising cookies: we set none, and HubSpot's advertising features stay switched off whichever choice you make.

The forms themselves are not affected by your choice: our contact and application forms work whether or not you accept cookies, because filling one in is your own request to us. If you decline, HubSpot is instructed not to track the visit, so what you send is handled on its own and is not linked to your browsing.

The cookies above are set by Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and HubSpot. Their own privacy notices explain what they do with the data: policies.google.com/privacy and legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it with the service providers that run parts of this website and our business, each acting on our instructions under a data-processing agreement:

  • HubSpot — forms on this website and our CRM.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — website analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Zoho Recruit — applicant tracking for the careers section.
  • Sanity and AWS — content management and hosting.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the correspondence that follows: up to 5 years after our last contact. Job applications: up to 2 years after the process closes, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or agree to a longer period. Cookies: for the lifetime set by each cookie, and no longer than 13 months for analytics and marketing cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what we did before you withdrew it. Write to info@riskconcilegroup.com and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority. In Belgium this is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do with personal data changes. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read. Nothing loads until you choose, and we never set advertising cookies — our forms work either way. See the cookie section of our privacy policy for details.
